Guestbook

Our guestbook was opened just a few days ago.  Many entries would help us in these sad hours, as we hope, that you, dear reader, would have had many good memorable experiences with our father / husband, just as we are very grateful for everything he has done for us. -  Many thanks from our hearts for the personal words with which we and others are being comforted by those that have already shared their thoughts here.  It is such a diversity, from loving details about our father and husband - that made us smile despite our grief, seeing what you saw, when he was still alive - to heartfealt words of condolence that help us handle the loss in another way. In any way, THANK YOU for sharing and helping in such a personal and thoughtful way!!!

Dear Doris and Family:

My thoughts are with all of you on this sad day. I remember Joachim and his strong and supportive attitude to all of our events around Polo for Hert. He always seemed so proud of Doris and his family.

With deepest sympathy,

Vonna Bitove

Dear Arend Family,

What a beautiful service you held for your father this morning! It was good to learn more about his truly amazing life.

He was indeed very proud of all of you, and a very generous man. As a friend of Ariane's (and Karsten's too), I was lucky to have known him and to have been a recipient of his great generosity at so many wonderful events in my early adult life. As a result of spending time with your family, Mrs. Arend has always been a great role model to me, as a wife and mother.

You are in my thoughts at this sad time. My condolences, Christina Eaton
